Today my buddy and I found a small pool of water. We asked mom if we could do our swimming training in it.
Mom called our pool a puddle and said it was impossible to swim in.

Things have taken a dire turn... mom said tomorrow she won't fluff me until I have my first swimming lesson

My buddy was right! Swimming lessons are just a way for mothers to drown children they don't like! I was so mad after my swimming lesson I drank double my normal amount of milk.

I talked to my baby otters buddies. They said their moms all tried to drown them too during swimming lessons. The only one who said his mom never tried to drown him was Barry. But Barry is kind of weird. His mom is super busy trying to keep him from eating sand all the time.

I was wrong about Barry. He's a genius. He found something super shiny while eating sand. The rest of us have been trying to eat sand ever since.

We decided to get organized and all try to eat straight down to have one massive hole, but then our moms found out and punished us with swimming lessons.
They never let us have any fun!

My buddy and I have devised a master plan to avoid swimming lessons. First we're going to drink lots of extra milk. Then we're going to go over to the island where the seals hang out and ask for seal training. Then we'll come back and not let our moms force us to do swimming lessons.
The only thing I'm worried about is it was supposed to be a secret, but my buddy's mom heard and just smiled and said "good plan."

I knew things had gone wrong when my mom urged me to drink more milk this morning. The next thing I knew my mom had taken me to the shore across from the seal island and my buddy and his mom showed up.
It appears we had a fatal flaw in our plan. The only way to get to seal island, is to swim!! 😨😱

I had decided never to speak to mom again after she cruelly kept trying to drown me during a so called swimming lesson on her way to seal island. But then she let me eat part of what she called a sea urchin.

I was super excited, mom says I've been growing bigger, but then she mentioned when I get too big I won't get to sleep on top of her anymore. 😱

Today I utterly vanquished the crab! I sat on it till it couldn't move anymore!
Mom says it was a clam, but I know it was actually a crab.
