I won't tell! It's a seal-ed secret!

Mom says when I get older I won't need naps anymore. But I told her I fully intend to nap curled up on her every day for the rest of my life

Makes sense, it's what seals do!

Yesterday I heard seals talking loudly to each other. So I decided today to yell very loudly to practice my seal talk. Then my mom said it was time for a swimming lesson and dumped me in the water! She has no respect for my seal training!

Mom is my hero. Today some dumb male otter tried to mess with me and mom bit a chunk of him off. I yelled at him that he'd better be careful because one day I'd be a super seal, and then I'd show him.
I love mommy. I'm going to cuddle her forever.

Today mom told me the story of the baby sea otter that didn't listen to his mom, and left the spot she placed him at to chase after a shiny object, only to be eaten by an Orca whale before he found it.
I've been looking for the shiny object ever since.

Mom said it was time for me to learn some social skills. She introduced me to another baby otter and its mommy. She told me to behave myself, but right when I would be about to demonstrate my super seal training mom would yank on my tail, and sit on me.
I bet this is why seals have short tails, so their moms can't boss them around.

So the short tail is essentially the way to freedom!

My new sea otter buddy told me he once watched a grown up otter the whole day, and they didn't once go to drink milk!
Grown ups are weird.

How can they do that? How can they even go without milk? That doesn't even make any sense! Silly adults.

I have a new theory. I think the adults go drink milk from a giant sea otter who lives on the ocean floor

I've noticed mom hides a rock in the folds of her fur. My new mission in life to get a hold of the rock. I bet it's shiny.

I must admit, that's a really great life mission! I wonder if the rock glows in the dark?
