I decided to try "Achillea millefolium" this early morning. There are some studies that show it's effective for babesia so that's my reasoning for it. The common name for it is "Yarrow". So far I only took 50 mg, but I'm trying to work my way up to 400 and then 800 mg. I just want to make sure I'm not allergic first. Here are the studies for those interested: Anti-babesial potential and chemical composition of essential oil from yarrow Achillea millefoliumpubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33847097/In vitro antioxidant and antibabesial activities of the extracts of Achillea millefoliumpubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31269341/Inhibitory activities of essential oils against Babesia canispubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32233296/Evaluation of the inhibitory activities of the extracts of Indonesian traditional medicinal plants against Plasmodium falciparum and Babesia gibsonipubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16141673/I will keep you guys updated on how it goes!

The end of the second day of trying yarrow is here, I took 150 mg today. I had brainfog today, not sure if it was related. Will go to 400 mg tomorrow and find out.
This was my update for the first day that I forgot to post:

Hi guys, quick update. This is the third day I took yarrow (Achillea millefolium).
I took 400 mg this time, but I took it in the evening. This was a mistake. It's 3 am in the morning and I just woke up herxing pretty badly.
Lesson learned: don't take higher doses of a new herb right before going to sleep.
On the bright side this stuff appears to be very potent for Babesia... but I would have loved to have learned that some other way 😒.

Hey Country, I have another update! So I wanted to know 100% for certain that last time was a herx caused by yarrow. I was already pretty certain but wanted to remove all doubt. There is also some interest on HealingWell now about yarrow in my Babesia thread, so I felt sort of responsible in a way. So I basically went all out and doubled the dosage from 400 mg to 800 mg. I know that sounds irresponsible, and it is. I should say that another part to this is that I've been kind of feeling a bit of frustration lately with being sick. Anyway, I started getting kind of sleepy and so I went to take a nap. Before falling asleep I was thinking that if I wake up sweating again I'll know for certain. Well, you guessed it, I woke up sweating even worse than first time. As you know this is one of my Babesia herx symptoms. Just for reference is 55 degrees outside at the moment, so there's no other way. I'm also feeling sore, which is a bit new(ish) symptom for my Babesia. It sort of feels like someone hugged me too hard or something. Come to think of it, it might be my lymph nodes. It's like a horizontal circle around my chest all way to right before my shoulder blade. The bad news is that this made me realize it's been a while since I herxed from cryptolepis in this way. But that's a different topic. That's it for now! Take care

I reduced from 800 mg to 400 mg yesterday. Today I'm considering maybe going even a bit lower than that.
This yarrow herb is potent for me. I'm not sure what dose to reduce it to though. Maybe 250mg?
I've also been feeling kind of sad the last few days and so I wonder if it's because of the herxing.

You're welcome. And I would think the sadness could be coming from herxing.

Hey Country! You were right! The sadness was because of the herx. I skipped a day and felt much better. A few hours ago I started back up but at a lower dose. Hopefully I won't feel sad this time because of the lower dose. Thank you
